Between 2014 and 2020, the property was restored with great attention to detail to preserve its historic value. Masonry: The stones of the facade were dismantled, restored and returned to its original place. Consequently, some traces of projectiles from the 1849 riots are still visible. Windows: The wooden windows are made to measure and were double glazed for thermal efficiency. Doors and woodwork: The doors and woodwork are made of Spanish cedar. Roof: The roof is made from galvanized steel, the gutters and downspouts are made from tinned copper. Back wall: The back wall is made of poured concrete, to provide better sound insulation.
